Senate Western Caucus Chair Cynthia Lummis has expressed her support for EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin’s recent actions in advancing President Trump’s executive orders. According to Lummis, these steps are crucial for revitalizing American energy and supporting the Great American Comeback.

“For the past four years, the west was burdened by the crippling Green New Scam policies that throttled American energy and attacked Wyoming coal, oil, and gas production,” said Lummis. “I am thrilled to see Administrator Zeldin take monumental steps to bring jobs back home to the U.S., drive down the cost of living, and unleash American energy.”

Administrator Zeldin also commented on the significance of these regulatory changes. “Today is the greatest day of deregulation our nation has seen,” he stated. “We are driving a dagger straight into the heart of the climate change religion to drive down cost of living for American families, unleash American energy, bring auto jobs back to the U.S., and more. Alongside President Trump, we are living up to our promises to unleash American energy, lower costs for Americans, revitalize the American auto industry, and work hand-in-hand with our state partners to advance our shared mission.”

The EPA announced measures aimed at reducing regulatory costs and hidden taxes on U.S. families. These changes are expected to decrease living expenses for Americans by making it more affordable to purchase cars, heat homes, and operate businesses. Additionally, these actions aim to stimulate job creation in various sectors including manufacturing and automotive industries.

The rollback of regulations from previous administrations is intended to relieve economic pressures across multiple sectors in America.
