CFR Responds to Potential Railcar Fire
On Saturday, June 3rd at 6:30 a.m., Cheyenne Fire Rescue (CFR) was dispatched to a railcar that was emitting smoke. Upon arrival, just east of the original dispatched address, a semi-trailer loaded on a flatbed railcar had moderate smoke coming from the interior of the trailer.

CFR Removes Victim from Structure Fire
Monday, May 29, at 2:17 a.m. Cheyenne Fire Rescue responded to a report of a structure fire in a vacant commercial occupancy in the 3500 block of Dell Range Boulevard. Firefighters arrived on the scene within four minutes of dispatch to find fire in the front area of the building.

National Trails Day is this Saturday, June 3. The city encourages you to get outside and hike your favorite trails. We have to admit, we are a little partial to the Greater Cheyenne Greenway, which represents 46.7 miles of 10-foot width paved trail and is easily accessible to everyone!
