Prairie Meadows Board of Directors approved a $20,000 Community Betterment Grant and Lowe’s approved a $2,000 Hometowns Grant for the Bondurant Dog Park
As the Bondurant community is eagerly awaiting the construction of the Bondurant Dog Park, City leaders are successfully gaining more and more outside funding. As is reflected in the mission statement of the 2012 Bondurant Comprehensive Plan, Bondurant prides itself in being a friendly, tranquil place to live with rural qualities and hometown values.

Nursing professor talks options for baby formula
Parents and caregivers have been struggling for months to deal with a national shortage of baby formula. A number of factors, including workforce, transportation and raw material shortages brought on by the pandemic, have made formula hard to find. When Abbott, one of the four major formula manufacturers in the United States, recalled some of its products and closed a manufacturing plant because of possible contamination, the situation got much worse. President Joe Biden launched Operation Fly Formula, now in its third trip, to bring formula to the U.S. from Europe.

Public Open House for the Bondurant Comprehensive Plan
The Bondurant Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee, along with the consultant company Confluence, has been working on the updated comprehensive plan for Bondurant since July of 2021. A comprehensive plan is a long-range plan that covers a wide range of community topics, including land use, parks and recreation, natural resources, economic development, housing, community character, transportation, and infrastructure.

City of Boulder Offering Two Grant Opportunities for the Arts and Culture Workforce with $915,000 in ARPA Funding
City of Boulder Office of Arts and Culture is offering Arts Administration Rehiring Grants and Artist Hiring Incentive Grants designed to respond to arts industry, COVID-related workforce impacts through targeted grants to arts and culture organizations. Funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), these grants are enhancements to rehire arts administration positions that were eliminated due to the pandemic, and to employ Boulder-area visual, performing, and literary artists to perform or create new work.

City Chooses Consultant to Assist With Final Work on the Reimagine Policing Plan
The City of Boulder announced today that it will partner with the National Policing Institute (NPI) to design and implement a strategic process for collecting feedback from the Boulder community on the Reimagine Policing (Update to the Police Department Master Plan) plan. This process will coincide with the release of a draft version of this plan later this summer.

Storm Clean-up: Disposing of Limbs and Brush
