Senator Cynthia Lummis recently addressed the Senate, commending President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) for their efforts in uncovering government spending inefficiencies. In her remarks, she highlighted various instances of what she termed wasteful expenditure.

Lummis detailed several examples during her speech. She noted expenditures such as “$4.5 million to combat disinformation in Kazakhstan,” “$20 million for a new Sesame Street show in Iraq,” and “$25 million for Deloitte to promote green transportation in the country of Georgia.”

Expressing gratitude on behalf of Wyoming residents, Lummis stated: “Thank you, President Trump, thank you for bringing in a group of people to help us shine a light on how we can make America better in just the way the American people yearned for, wanted, expect, and celebrate.”
