Today, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis from Wyoming released a statement following the certification of President Donald Trump’s election. In her statement, she addressed the economic challenges faced by Wyoming residents during the Biden-Harris administration.

“For four years the people of Wyoming have suffered from skyrocketing prices at the grocery store and gas pump thanks to the Biden-Harris administration’s runaway spending,” said Lummis. She emphasized that the American public expressed their desire for change in November by electing Trump.

Lummis stated, “The American people spoke out strongly in November, overwhelmingly electing President Trump and choosing a new direction for our country.” She also expressed her honor in participating in the certification process and her eagerness to collaborate with Trump. “I was honored to help certify their decision today, and I look forward to working with President Trump to make our nation strong again.”
