Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming has been appointed to three subcommittees under the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation for the 119th Congress.
Lummis expressed her enthusiasm for the new roles, stating, “I’m honored to be chosen to serve on these critical subcommittees and work on these important issues that impact the future of our country.” She highlighted the range of topics these subcommittees will address, including artificial intelligence and efforts to revitalize manufacturing in the United States.
“These subcommittees tackle everything from the impacts of AI to our efforts to bring manufacturing back to the United States,” Lummis said. She emphasized her eagerness to contribute Wyoming’s perspective and work towards providing oversight and fostering innovation. “I look forward to working on these subcommittees to provide true oversight and harness America’s unlimited innovation potential. I am excited to get to work.”
