Another focal point of her remarks was President Trump’s approach to border security. “Where the Biden administration created chaos, President Trump, has restored order,” Lummis stated, citing actions such as the signing of the Laken Riley Act and reinstating certain immigration enforcement measures. Additionally, Lummis highlighted measures to cut wasteful spending and tackle the national debt. She expressed strong support for the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency, led by Elon Musk, aimed at identifying government waste and abuse.
