City of Laramie recently issued the following announcement.
Can you recycle glass in Laramie?
Yes, glass can be recycled for free by dropping it off at the Landfill/Recycling Center.
Unfortunately, glass will not be recycled if you put it in your recycling cart (blue lidded bin). Glass in the recycling cart will be treated as trash and will do more harm than good. Glass breaks in the collection truck and the shards become embedded in cardboard and paper. If you choose not to drop off glass, then please treat it as trash.
