City of Laramie recently issued the following announcement.
Beginning the morning of Wednesday, April 13th, 2022, 3rd Street will be closed from Harney to Shield street for Water Main replacement. Traffic will be detoured to 4th Street . The closure from Shield to Harney will last through early May.
In May, the street closure will shift on 3rd Street to the south of Harney, maintaining closure of approximately 3 block increments at a time. The project will continue progressing south on 3rd Street through Sheridan Street (and then around Fetterman Street) throughout the summer until complete. The project completion is estimated to be around October 31, 2022.
Updates will be provided throughout the summer as sections of 3rd Street are re-opened and new sections closed due to this project. Questions or comments to engineering@cityoflaramie.org or 307-721-5250.
