Witnesses Sought in Crash with Pedestrian

Boulder Police are looking for witnesses to this morning’s serious crash between a car and a pedestrian that occurred on Canyon Boulevard.

At approximately 6:37 a.m., a white 2017 Nissan Sentra driving east in the 900 block of Canyon Boulevard collided with a pedestrian in the crosswalk near the northeast corner of the Boulder Public Library. The pedestrian—a 61-year-old female—suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Boulder Community Hospital by ambulance. She is currently in critical condition.

The driver—a 31-year-old male—remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No intoxication of the driver is suspected. Anyone who may have witnessed any part of the crash is asked to call the Boulder Police Traffic Unit at 303-441-3300 or Officer C. Clark at 720-290-2979 reference case #22-07818.
