You may have noticed an increased number of mosquitoes over the past few days…Recent heavy rains and persistently high temperatures have contributed to a late-season hatch of our local floodwater mosquito species. While this species is not our local vector of West Nile, it can be a nuisance during outdoor activities. Mosquito Control continues to monitor local mosquito populations and has opted to temporarily resume evening fogging activities to help alleviate this nuisance. You can find updated fogging plans as well as other mosquito related information on our website https://www.cityoflaramie.org/.../Mosquito-Chemical... or you can call the Mosquito & Chemical Application Hotline (307) 721-5056.
