Did you know that plastic bags won’t be recycled if placed in the recycling cart? They’re a bad influence on the actual recyclables and will turn them to a life of trash, resulting in all of us having to pay contamination charges. To recycle right, you need to take them to Safeway or Walmart. In the front of these stores, you’ll find a free drop off box. Don’t forget to bring their friends along as bubble wrap (including bubble mailers with labels cut out), product overwrap and similar plastics can also be recycled instead of trashed. Just make sure they are clean and dry.
