WASHINGTON, D.C.— U.S. Senators John Barrasso and Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) along with Governor Mark Gordon have announced the 2nd Annual Wyoming Funding Summit, which will take place in Riverton from April 8-12, 2024. The event aims to assist Wyoming grant seekers in navigating the complex world of grant applications and maximizing the funding available to them.

"Navigating grant applications or even having a clear understanding of what is available on a state and federal level can be incredibly confusing," said Barrasso, Lummis, and Gordon. "We are proud to once again deliver a free, comprehensive workshop that empowers Wyoming grant seekers to achieve success in the federal funding process and maximize funding available to them."

The Wyoming Funding Summit will offer two days of professional training on identifying, applying for, securing, and managing grant funding. This will be followed by three days of seminars, panels, and open house discussions with state and federal agencies. The entire event is free and open to the public, with towns and counties strongly encouraged to attend.

Last year, Senator Lummis joined Senator John Barrasso and Governor Mark Gordon in hosting the first of its kind funding summit, providing free professional advice and creating a one-stop-shop for participants to meet with and hear directly from agency representatives.

The Wyoming Funding Summit has proven to be a valuable resource for grant seekers in the state, providing them with the knowledge and connections necessary to successfully secure funding. Interested individuals can register for the event and obtain lodging information by clicking here.

By hosting the 2nd Annual Wyoming Funding Summit, Barrasso, Lummis, and Gordon continue to demonstrate their commitment to supporting the people of Wyoming in their pursuit of funding opportunities.
