Senator Cynthia Lummis from Wyoming has issued a statement in recognition of National Girls and Women in Sports Day. She participated in an event at the White House alongside President Donald J. Trump, marking the signing of an executive order titled "Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports."

"The far left’s attack on female athletes is the women’s rights issue of our time," stated Senator Lummis. She emphasized Wyoming's history of leading women's rights advancements and expressed her support for female athletes on this occasion. "On National Girls and Women in Sports Day, I celebrate our fearless female athletes and will continue to work to reverse the woke policies that threaten the safety of women and girls on the playing field."

For further insights, Senator Lummis has co-authored an op-ed with Riley Gaines published by Fox News, which elaborates on their stance regarding women's sports.
