U.S. Senators Cynthia Lummis and John Barrasso, along with Representative Harriet Hageman, have responded to pressure from former judges and lawyers in Wyoming. The group had urged the delegation to criticize former President Trump and address judges' interventions in policies supported by the majority of Wyoming residents.

In a released statement, the delegation clarified their stance, emphasizing the importance of the judiciary's impartiality. They expressed concerns over what they see as unelected judges imposing biases without democratic backing. "The Supreme Court has consistently noted that political questions should be kept at arm’s length by the judiciary," stated the delegation. They further underscored the constitutional duty of Congress to ensure judicial impartiality, noting, "Unelected judges imposing their policy biases on our nation without democratic legitimacy are the root cause of today’s controversy. Our Constitution impels all members of the judicial branch to administer justice with impartiality."

The full letter from the Wyoming delegation detailing their position can be accessed through provided channels.
