he City of Cheyenne is accepting applications to fill two vacancies on the Housing and Community Development Advisory Council and one vacancy on the Public Transit Advisory Board.
The City of Laramie Mosquito Control has scheduled the aerial application of Dibrom for the control of adult mosquitoes in rural areas adjacent to the City for Thursday June 29th, 2023, starting around 7pm.
Bike to Work (or Wherever) Day is this Wednesday, June 28! Some have described it as “The best holiday ever, all on two wheels,” while others love the celebration of people out riding their bicycles. During BT(W)D, community members are encouraged to travel by bike wherever they’re headed, be it for work, errands, dropping kids off at daycare, or just for fun.
Beginning Tuesday June 27th thru Friday June 30th, 22nd Street between Nighthawk and Trabing will be closed for work associated with the detention pond.
Rooted in Cheyenne, is requesting the help of volunteers to assist with tree health checks around the area. Over 300 trees will receive health checks this summer from June until August.
