Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming has expressed her congratulations to Brian Nesvik following his successful nomination by the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW) to become Director of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). The full Senate will now consider his nomination for a confirmation vote.

"Brian Nesvik will do an amazing job leading the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service," stated Senator Lummis. "As the committee saw today, Brian has an impressive track record in Wyoming, working with federal, state, and local partners to achieve goals in a collaborative fashion. I'm pleased to see his nomination move quickly out of Senate EPW and I urge my colleagues to swiftly confirm Brian as the next Director of the USFWS."

During the EPW Committee hearing, Senator Lummis also spoke in favor of Nesvik’s nomination.
